Just a quick post to mention what’s coming up next for me fermentation-wise. I currently have 8 things in process, as can be seen on my What’s Brewing Now page. I’m running low on supplies so a trip to South Hills Brewing is certainly in order.
Once I get what I need, here’s the plan:
- Braggot: Ye Olde Try #2
- I learned a ton from my first foray into the braggot world and I want to put that knowledge to use. I have high hopes for this one.
- Icewine Style Wine using Welch’s Frozen Concentrate
- I see very few ideas for homemade icewine style wine so I’m gonna give it a go. I’ve been reading alot on icewine lately and I think I have a good potential recipe that I will certainly share.
- Pineapple Juice concentrate wine.
- Just a simple easy one using my standard concentrate recipe.
- Praline Dessert Wine
- A classic award-winning Jack Keller recipe that can be seen here.
The wines and brew above are certainly next, soon to be followed with a spiced mead, perhaps a jalepeno wine or mead, a vanilla pyment, a tomato wine and perhaps a garlic wine to be used for cooking. My mind is always a whirling dervish of things I simply cannot wait to ferment!!!
